Accommodation

A few days ago another envelope arrived. These were the documents about the accommodation in Edinburgh. I think the best way to get into the scottish life is to live together with locals. So I decided long ago to move in a student flat run by the university. Compared to my flat right now I would have to pay twice the price for almost half of the space. Great starting conditions. Well, I am flexible.

Arrival on 25th september

Only few weeks left till my departure from germany. In the last weeks I started realizing what it really means to leave your surroundings which you got used to your whole life. It is a sad feeling. There are doubts if it is worth it. You start thinking about the sense of your adventure. My roommate moved out yesterday. She is going to stay in China for 6 months. We had nice conversations about our common situation. Somehow this is just one part of the consequences coming with such a decision.
Still I am looking forward to my trip, I think.
